Disney, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley and Jerry Bruckheimer. If you want to understand the definition of nubfarm, here you go.

I didn't want to look at Jake Gyllenhaal for two hours first of all. Wasn't Ben Kingsley in another video game movie named BloodRayne, made by your boy Uwe Boll. Those two were red flags. Disney I figured would be cool because of the special effect they could bring to the table. Jerry Bruckheimer not so much. Since I'm a gamer, I'm obligated to go see this movie. I may have forgot to mention I have never played any of the Prince of Persia games.

**Spoiler Alert**

The first time you see the prince as a boy he is running from the guards. Quickly jumps up onto some posts that are sticking out of the wall and runs across four of them. Bad special effect there. In the following scenes he is jumping from roof top to roof top. You can tell that it is a grown man doing the jumping. I'll tell you right now this movie has bad 80's buddy cop movie written all over it.

Thanks to the preview for revealing who the villain is. You could have saved it. The movie doesn't have a bad story at all, but you know who the bad guy is the entire time. The movie tries to swerve you, but in the end it's all the same. Which by the way this is a time travel end of the world movie. So the movie pretty much ends where it starts off. You didn't miss anything if you went to the bar half way through this one. One more gripe about the story is that in the middle of all the chaos, the princess describes only two outcomes. Either destroy the world or nothing will change back. Everything actually goes back to normal(like back to the begging of the moive) with one anomaly for me. The prince's friend who dies at the very beginning of the attack on the castle, before we even see the dagger, has come back to life. Wow, powerful dagger.

You can pass on The Prince of Persia the Sands of Time. Uwe Boll has cursed the genre and Ben Kingsley.

There is actually one thing I did take away from this movie. I really want to see Tron Legacy. That preview gets me pumped up. I love the way it looks, the music and sound effects. I'm super excited about a new Tron movie. Was the original Tron, movie to game or game to movie first?

Jimmy!
